Love Bawarchi! I called in a large catering order for work and they were amazing. Gave great service and very communicative about timing. The food was beyond delicious. I can't wait to go back.

We ordered chicken and paneer biryani. The biryanis came with Raita and a kurma and amazing flavor! The paneer biryani was really good however, the chicken comes with the bone in the Hyderabadi chicken biryani. So, if you're not into bones then this biryani isn't right for you. Their mango lassi was prolly the best one I tasted around Austin

The food has been consistently tasty & fresh. I even catered from here for my toddler's birthday in March & the food was a complete hit with all our guests. Positions are huge too so that's always a plus. Must say after the change in management and chef, this place has turned over a new leafy & is our go to place every time we miss Indian food!

I always like to try Indian food at any place I visit. Thanks to my friend who told me that one of the famous Indian restaurants is in Austin. They are famous for their Biryanis. I was a bit unlucky that they offer thalapakkutu Biryani only on the weekends. That's my favorite Biryani but I can do fine with other styles as well. This place was about 20 mins drive from our Airbnb. They don't have indoor dining so I recommend you order online or call them. We ordered veggie dum biryani, mutton pepper fry which is very spicy if you like the Heat (I love it), half tandoori chicken for appetizer and chicken pepper soup. The temperature in Austin dropped to 40s so it was great to have some spicy food. Everything was really delicious. My favorite was obviously the mutton pepper fry. I love mutton so this reminded me of my days in India when we would enjoy a nice mutton pepper fry with either rice or Dosa. Biryani was great! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking to try authentic South Indian food.
